Miss Tammie’s journey in early childhood education began long before Stepping Stones was founded. As a young child growing up in Niceville, Florida, she was given the rare opportunity to attend a high-quality, faith-based preschool—a blessing made possible by a generous church member who stepped in when her family couldn’t afford tuition. That act of kindness planted a seed that would grow into a lifelong calling.

Years later, as a high school student, Miss Tammie returned to that same preschool—not as a student, but as a staff member. It was there that she discovered her passion for nurturing young children and building meaningful relationships with families. Over time, she became a respected leader in the local early learning community, known for her joyful spirit, hands-on approach, and unwavering commitment to quality over quantity.

Now a mother of three, all raised in Destin, Miss Tammie brings decades of experience, heart, and vision to Stepping Stones Early Learning Academy. Her leadership is rooted in faith, family, and a deep belief that every child deserves to be loved, challenged, and celebrated. Her legacy lives on in every classroom, every chapel moment, and every warm welcome at the door.
