Story
I officially joined Stepping Stones Early Learning Academy (SSELA) full-time in January 2022, though my involvement began long before that—as a committed “voluntold” helper in our family-run business since its inception. My journey into early childhood education has been anything but conventional. At 16, I would have laughed at the idea of working full-time in a preschool setting. Yet, a decade later, I couldn’t imagine doing anything else.
Discovering my passion for early childhood education was unexpected, but it has proven to be the most fulfilling career path I could have chosen. Now, as a father, I bring a new level of empathy and insight to my role. Sending my own child to our schools has deepened my appreciation for the work we do and the trust families place in us.
